Pfizer second dose

F*ck!!! Had my second shot yesterday and I’m totally f*cked. Can’t even get out of the bed! Chills, fever and massive body pains. I had covid about a year ago, at that time until the doctor told me I was covid positive I did not even realize. I did not even have symptoms of common cold 🙄 I was told the healthier and stronger you are worse are the side effects… is this true? I’m usually strong as an OX, never felt this sick ever! Is this normal?

there's nothing like the "healthier and stronger you are... " It's a different reaction on different people. it'll get better in a day. stay safe

Thank god!

Yes - same here 24H in bed. Body aches like someone beat me. Chills. Like a very bad flu. It was crazy. After 24H, totally back to normal and smile again.

Very few of my friends had severe fever and chills, felt better within 2 days.

Yes that’s your body hard at work making even more of those good good antibodies!

Yep, working as expected, works even better if you get heart murmurs.

I had no reaction to pfizer other than sore arm, but I know others who got J &J and had flu symptoms for a couple days, then it went away.

Three things: 1. Feel better. It is very unpleasant but usually a day or two 2. It is possible you didn’t have COVID (tests have false positive rating though it is very low with PCR can still happen. More likely to be false positive if you had no symptoms) 3. If you had COVID the second dose may be worse than in general population. What you feel is your immune response. COVID would have trained it and so would the first dose, by dose 2 you have some pretty hyperactive T-cells. Will serve you well in a couple of weeks but just misery for now

Normal. Shit sucks. Did you take ibuprofen or Tylenol? (And did your doc recommend taking either of them?)

Snap Nawaab OP Jul 17, 2021

Not yet. I hate taking them as they f*ck up our livers. My doc did tell me to take ibuprofen if symptoms get worse, just want to fight it off without medication. Maybe I’ll take it at night as last resort.

You said you drank half a bottle of whiskey yesterday though? I thought you didn't have a problem with fucking up your liver 😅
