The BoD at Square has a member who tried to make a public beach private. Other tech companies have a Trump super delegate on their board, and very few have women or anyone of minority status (Square doesn't fall in this category thankfully). How does your company's board of directors represent or misrepresent you and your company?
Board members are not supposed to represent the company by design. Think of them as successful 3rd party consultants.
They can be used as selling point
I have literally no idea who is on our board.
We have at least 2 white women, I think.
Vinod Khosla is a total c*ck. Just a totally reprehensible human being. I have zero respect for any CEO who would put him on their board.
Why?
I went through some of those pieces. It seems that he assumes that his audience has a large part of the context that is in his head, he places a lower value on healthcare regulation than most people in the industry and he seems to have trouble communicating his thoughts to others. None of this tells me that he's morally reprehensible. Is there something amiss?
Understand your concern. Vinod was Series A investor which usually take a board seat though. Also he resigned right after IPO.
We have a board member who is directly competing against us.
You meant...Drummond?
