‘I don’t feel wealthy’: The upper middle class is worried about paying for the tax overhaul - The Washington Post https://apple.news/A1TAi-6oxTl2vOkYFyHKeBA No complaints about the new tax system where pretty much all tech workers get boned while the ultra rich are untouched? Where's the maga boys at now?
I think I read somewhere that the “middle class is the new poor”, so upper middle class means “just surviving”. With the new tax plan, it will only get worse. So effectively there are two classses: 1. super rich, 2. getting by.
Your definition of “getting by” is very interesting (victim mentality), I have a 6bdrm home on half an acre and a family of 5 and we still save like $1500 a month, and I am not super rich.
Just over-generalization to mean that “you’re not going to buy a yacht and go for a long vacation”. Just a normal ordinary life works.
TBF if you guys have seen how the lower middle class and poor lives it's definitely much worse. Dirty, crime infested neighborhoods with unhealthy junk as food. Yes we're not rich to the point of fulfilling every desire, but we have nice apartments and healthy food every day. My real issue with with these MAGA boys who claim a better economy and lower taxes.
I can't understand the hypocrisy. Aren't all anti-MAGA boys were ready to share all their wealth with the poor and be super responsible about their "fair share" under Bernie? So what's wrong all of a sudden? And also, if you choose to leave in NJ, CA or NY - tough luck. I know those are squeezing the shit out of people in taxes. I'm in NJ in process of looking to move. But nobody wants to pay for your deductions. Push your state to be more responsible with money and cut their appetite instead or leave to a better place.
The hypocrisy is this: if bernie passed this same law you'd be whining to all your friends about the greedy libs. But your boy Don does the same thing and it's all good. Oh and guess what? NJ, NY and CA literally bankroll your flyover states. You think America is the greatest country on earth because of potatoes?
First of all idiot Bernie would never pass such plan. Because current plan actually lowers taxes for many(if you took time to actually read estimates). All libs could do is to increase for everyone except those who don't want to work at all. I'm just saying that current plan might hurt only "some" people. And only in taxation heavens. CA, NJ, and NY are the sources of revenue all right. But that doesn't mean they should squeeze the shit out of people. Bankrolling US has nothing to do with NJs property taxes being higher than rent for comparable properties. It has also nothing to do with many other similar "local" taxes.
If corporations paid their fair share maybe the population would be less squeezed. The least paid worker at apple pay more percentage tax that they do for instance

Uh oh: President Trump leads Biden 49% to 43% in a two-way race.
Tech workers are only wealthy on paper. When you consider that one million dollars doesn't even buy a house for a family in the tech cities and the number of hours and the stress/frustration that comes with the job, we don't get compensated enough.
Tech workers are wealthy. I bought a 4br house for 500k this year with a 30 minute commute to work in Seattle. I make 135k base a year and this is our family’s only income + we have 1 child. We give 15% of our income away to charity every month. We still have enough left over to do fun things on the weekends. You are not right when you say we don’t get compensated enough.
Fake news. There's no way you could afford all that in Seattle on 135k.
