Due the massive amounts of on call and the horrible handling of TREx I started applying for new jobs and after umpteen and ten rejections I got 2 offers . Offer 1. No Name sub of a sub government contractor on a Department Of Homeland Security project TC 160K (155k base 5k bonus with a 1 year claw-back clause) 20 days PTO and 3.5% 401k match that vests 100% at 2 years 3500 education stipend. Offer 2. Cognizant Softvision 160k base , unlimited PTO, 3% 401k match vests immediately. Current TC 125K and very unlimited PTO (I've taken 5+ weeks already) plus 5% 401k match that vests immediately and 100 amazon gift card on my birthday with 50 gym card too.
Do you have an option to transfer internally to a position that would give you better experience while you continue looking externally? Last time I looked at the Capital One site they had thousands of open roles.
