I have virtual onsite interview coming up for iOS engineer role. There are multiple rounds seems like focusing on iOS related knowledge. Can anyone tell me what should I expect for the rounds like project architect, debugging and project coding? On which criteria they will evaluate in each round? Thank you in advance. #ios #doordash #onsite #tech
I interviewed with them in 2022 Project architecture - they give you app spec and wireframe and ask you to system design, asking you questions about your choice along the way Project coding - read me file with JSON structure to pull from an API, and a gif preview of the mini app they want you to build live. It’ll be like a more difficult version of the technical screening, assuming they haven’t changed interview structure since I interviewed with them Debugging - a very simple app that has a number of bugs, the more you can find, the better. Hope this helps!
Yes, that's helped me a lot. Just want to clarify about project architecture, Does it not belong with the project coding path? About the project coding path, they gave us only JSON structure and read me the file, so we can do it with any language like swiftUI or UIkit, right? I really appreciate your help 🙏
Yes, the project architecture and project coding were completely different when I interviewed. What you design in project architecture is not what you work on in project coding. And yes, you can use either SwiftUI or UIKit, they let you choose. Glad to hear I could be of help! Hope you get it 🙏
prepfully.com/coaches/doordash/ios the first coach in the list is seriously good. paid, though. good luck!
Thanks
