My current company has Gympass and I love it b/c it opens up an entire network of gyms, both expensive and cheap. I'm moving to another company without it and will sorely miss it. I read that contractors for Shipt can get Gympass. I was planning on doing a few runs to get Gympass. However, there's a waitlist to join Shipt. Anyone know other workarounds to get Gympass?
What benefit is there to have access to multiple gyms? If it has a pool, the type of equipment you want, and a clean environment I’m not sure what else you’d be looking for. 280$ for a gym membership sounds kind of silly.
There are different tiers. The tier I'm on is $140/month. It includes access to LA Fitness, Lifetime Fitness, F45, cross fit gyms... all on a national scale. If I joined F45 directly, it'll cost me $180/month and it's only for that local spot. Additionally, Gympass lets you pause membership. If I go on a two week vacation, then I can pause for that period of time and not pay. It's literally, a biweekly membership. No annual requirements.

Buy a gym pass and demand a higher salary to cover the costs or eat the costs yourself.
It’s not a hard decision or you could vouch for it to be added to the employee benefits package.
279.99 a month for someone who actually takes advantage of the benefit is a steal of a deal. If you’re not going to use it but want it anyways that’s a different issue.
