Cap1 Offer review
Can anyone give me some insights on cap1 bands and some negotiation tips I interviewed for lead position, there was a slight hiccup in my coding interview, and ai got downlevelled (anyways I am more comfortable accepting senior software engineer position) I was told I could work towards a promotion in 1 year, and I am being offered the higher side of the PA band Offer: Base - 185k, No stock, 9k target Bonus, 20k sign on Location NYC Current TC - 0 unemployed Years of experience - 3 years embedded, 3 years fullstack
Don’t expect promo, maybe just take the offer and look elsewhere in 6 months to a year

Should I push back on tue down leveling ?
Level is decided as part of interview debrief and almost impossible to change. You can try to negotiate more on the offer though I am not sure about the max they can offer for PA. 185k looks really good. Might be ask for more signon.
