Google hoih Dec 20, 2021

Such a human scum trying to profit from people being laid off. Even puts ads in the video description. Massive cringe.

Microsoft mainOne Dec 20, 2021

I'm confused. How else are they supposed to lay people off when everything is still remote?

thedudewho OP Dec 20, 2021

True, but could of had this conversation in person. I thought it was a mass firing looks like she was the only 1 on it as opposed to better.com but she is right in the video. If you term an employee you are required by law to have their paycheck ready to go. I would of had them come in term them and pay the extra 4 hours as required by CA law.

I love the guy just sitting there drinking coffee in his cabin

Meta katieku Dec 20, 2021

maybe you should like to be fired in that exact same clinical, indifferent, snobbish manner.

Amazon badwifi Dec 20, 2021

Looks pretty normal. Layoffs are normal

Gotcha but don't hire if you don't have the funds for at least a month, they got cut throat labor and did a bait and switch. This is terribly executed.

I hope there will be a sequel for this video. Outcome of the lady lawyering up against these horrible management.

What is she going to sue for? She had 3 weeks of paid training, and then Sears decided they didn't want to pursue that part of Sears home improvement sales. Not really surprising since Sears is owned by a private equity firm now.
