Hello! I was offered 70k for a Resource Capacity Planner in Zurich Insurance company based in Dublin. This is a good compensation? Anyone has any thoughts? TC: 70k Location: Dublin, Ireland, Europe YoE: 4 Role: Capacity Resource Planner Level: 2-1 Obs.: What other compensation package/item is reasonable to negotiate with Zurich Insurance company? Thanks in advance! #insurance #health #zurich #capacityplanning
Also worth knowing that your net pay will be aprox 50% of your gross, so for 70k, you are looking at roughly 3k per month. Food and transport make min 900-1000 per month. Its risky if you ask me, but depends on what sort of lifestyle you want.
Thanks for your message! Actually I already live in Dublin and I pay 1.4k a month. My current compensation is way less than that, around 50k. I am surviving. At the moment I work for TikTok and I was very upset when I realized that I was being severely underpaid/shafted comparing myself with new colleagues joining recently. The thing is I came from Bulgaria, didn’t not have any friend in Ireland in the past when I came for TikTok, HRBP did their job very well underpaying me almost 30% less comparing with other colleagues already based here. My references at that time was google search, I googled wrongly, again, I came from a BPO and from a not competitive country. Now that I am here in Dublin struggling to survive, I am trying to make the right choice. Choose the right company, solid, with a decent pay wage. So my net salary with 70k will be definitely better than my net salary with 50k. However I am still trying to understand what are the other negotiable points in the industry. Still learning ~ would appreciate if any of you can help me. Thanks again!
Its not bad but depends if you are single income household. If you want to live alone in a good area in Dublin, this will barely keep you afloat and you will not be able to save any money. Rent for 1 bedroom goes for 2k a month. If you are open to sharing a house/apartment, might work.
