Which banks can h1b get mortgage loans at? All the big ones seem to ask if you're a citizen or a permanent resident in online forms.
I don’t think they give loans to GC or citizens only. I have purchased homes multiple times while on H1B. They just need valid visa docs .
Who are your providers if you don't mind sharing?
Well i use a lender broker and then it can be any mortgage originator like Rocket mortgage/quicken loans then in the lending business the loans get sold to other banks. I have Chase, Nationstar etc currently servicing loans. Hope i clarified? I dont go with a big bank
That's not true. Maybe ask someone else to fill the forms on your behalf who knows the process.
Check DCU - always friendly for legal immigrants
All the big banks can...
Loandepot, Rocket mortgage, SoFi, Better and many more for conventional or jumbo mortgages. If you are looking for USDA or zero down mortgages you might have to be a citizen.
All big banks can... What are you talking about? Most of my friends on H1B, including myself. We all have mortgages. And I had multiple loan applications. Wells Fargo, boa, loan depot, all the normal lenders. Never had an issue because of h1b.
Don’t do it, never buy while on visa
