Today all hands announced layoffs in China and opened 80+ R&D hc worldwide for Chinese employees to relocate to. Is this just impacting R&D or the whole China team?

Every western company is pulling out of China. The CCP in recent years has been over involved in various industries and transformed China into an inhospitable environment to enterprises
Yeah, and they can't compete with Chinese electric vehicles companies
CCP has direct and indirect ownership in so many industries, they change rules all the time, and companies have been burned by all the so called “tech transfers”, not to mention never ending espionage. As far as Chinese cars, the CCP is pumping pretty much unlimited funds into the industry in an attempt to drown the competition. Having 91 EV manufacturers alone is insane and obviously unsustainable. Now they’re starting to collapse. Most companies can’t compete when they don’t have unlimited government funds.
