#vmware guys are you ready ?
Good homework OP
Thanks Salesforce
Sounds scary being at VMware
I couldn't imagine, poor guys
So 2000 out of 4800 in Nov. The last two articles refer to the same layoff in the US. First one was 2500 employees in India and rest from the rest of the world. It looks like growth projects get chopped immediately and then some pruning after the acquisition completes. Either way VMware is sold to kabadi wala (scraps). They dont see any value, just scraps.
Yes, the last two articles are for the same layoffs, I was just trying to cross verify from different sources
Great job putting this together OP. You definitely calm my anxiety ๐ญ๐
Since we all know whats coming, are you guys still working ? ๐คจ
There is one guy who commented in timesofindia article that there were hardly 2500 employees back in 2018 in India. How can they fire 8000 ๐คฃ๐คฃ and I would like to believe him.
I don't get it, why he said that? Because they're "new" ?
Probably a little more time than CA as this is a massive acquisition and EU is investigating the deal. Id say another 3ish months before sht hits the fan
Probably more. This is a phase 2 probe. Iโd say a year at least.
I wish this was presented by BC instead of their BS during that outdoor all hands.
Dangerous precedent for VMWare
