Going through the interview process with Zendesk for a pm position. Does anyone know what questions are typically asked with the hiring manager or on-site? #pm #product #productmanager #zendesk
Make sure you do proper research before you decide to join. Company is going through a lot of changes and there's lot of uncertainty. See if you can talk to someone in the company to see if it'll be a good fit for you
You must be crazy to join us right now. Seriously. We are on a cliff about to fall off.
Zendesk was one of the pioneers of customer support software and almost every large company uses them. I'm really curious how/why their business failing??
I get all the stuff you are saying but I'm still wondering how they are losing money or not making enough money when so many top companies use them for all help desk work.

Expect some product design challenges e.g. improve the Amazon checkout experience. Also depending on the team also expect some design critique conversations akin to describing a product that you think was designed poorly and how you would improve it. Expect a typical PM interview assessment in that your answer is less important than demonstrating your abilities to ask clarifying question that demonstrate how you approach solving product problems - we want to see how you can think through a problem and demonstrate customer empathy throughout with sound reasoning behind the decisions you would take to solve the problems you have defined. Hope that helps and good luck on your interviews!!
