If you got offers from both Zendesk and Autodesk, both remote, similar TC, which would you pick to be on a better path to grow more, learn more and potentially make it to FANG in the future? Zendesk: API gateway implementation with graphql and handling huge traffic (millions of requests) and working across multiple teams. Autodesk: senior fullstack, working on some frontend UI tools including maps, visualizations and simulations. Working with serverless tech stack. TC: 170k #engineering #fang #google #amazon #zendesk #autodesk #dropbox
Go for Zendesk ❤️
No way Zendesk has similar TC to Autodesk. Don’t forget that the Autodesk RSUs will increase in value in time, and Zendesk will hardly, if ever, give you more.
Autodesk
OP did not share the numbers i thought offers were similar
Hard call. Are you aware of recent changes to Zendesk (ie acquisition by PE firm)? Some benefits have been cut, who knows what the future holds. That being said, I personally love working for Zendesk. I come from start ups. I like the pay at zendesk, the flexibility, and work life balance. I won’t be leaving because of the acquisition, I’d just be cautious and aware.
Autodesk : much stable company, RSUs will increase over time and help grow your TC
Autodesk. Happy to give you more details DM me.
Autodesk has been the leader in their field for longer than I’ve been alive. Don’t see anyone changing that yet. They’ve adapt well from tech stack to tech stack. I don’t think customer support is as automatable as most people think. We’d be better served focusing on using ai for process mining than trying to answer customer questions. Big mistake in my book.
Don't even think of Zendesk
Do you need automatic desk?
