Zillow Senior Engineer Offer
I’ve received the following offer from Zillow for a senior engineer position (P4) in Seattle: Total comp: 300k Base: 180k For reference, I have about 5-6 years of experience. I have on-site interviews coming up with many of the bigger companies in the area, but I really liked the culture and atmosphere at Zillow, and my candidate experience at most of the other companies has been pretty poor. So my question is: is this a competitive offer compared to what I could expect from some of the larger companies?

Even if Airbnb and some unicorn tops your offer, that is all paper money. Zillow is public and you can liquidate whenever you choose to do so.
Yep, that is really competitive. If you like the culture, it makes sense to accept.

Sounds like a really good offer for 5-6 years experience. Hard to believe, but not impossible. I guess it is hard to get a better offer than that.
