Why? Who?
Who was impacted? Was interviewing there for a role earlier this year...
The report says half of it was support/sales. But I feel like a lot of the other half was Eng because It seems like we lost a lot.
Interesting, interviewed there a month ago. Feedback was I did great on 2/3 and ok on the specialization (db) interview, no offer. Very very very picky hiring committee. Got 3 offers later that week that came in much higher than they would have.
not so much demand for recruiting software firm in this economy
Did the final round two weeks ago. Never heard back from the recruiter.
OP, Isn't the why obvious? Ziprecruiter is a job board used by 'recruiters' that's paid for and populated by hiring companies. Companies aren't going to pay the placement premiums they likely did a year ago when the growth boom was going on and several recruiters have also been laid off. This has a domino-effect on not only the recruitment industry, but the subsequent software used by said industry.
