I have gigabit internet from xfinity with 7 devices online including streaming. I am using MacBook pro for work. Whenever I connect zoom call, after few minutes internet connection on my Mac drops and zoom restarts > wifi connects automatically after few seconds and I get reconnected to zoom call. This keeps repeating every few minutes while on zoom. I was on 300 mbps plan abs and Comcast told me zoom requires higher speeds so I upgraded to 1 gbps plan abs and also upgraded my modem. But this didn't resolve issue. My Mac is on Catalina. Does anyone have permanent solution to above issue?
vpn?
Same issue with and without vpn
Your MacOS is updated to latest version? Other apps work fine? Facetime , meet , webex?
use wired for a day and see what happens.
Zoom does not require gigabit or even 300 megabit. We have 15megabit DSL and it works fine. You got scammed.
You really think lack of bandwidth is disconnecting your wifi ??
It’s sad, really.

You likely have a shitty router. 300mbps is plenty for Zoom. Don’t use the ISP router if you are, buy your own.
Just bought brand new modem+router..I am getting avg 270-300 mbps on all devices over wifi but when zoom is connected..wifi drops after few minutes on MacBook
