How was the deal for you? Do you feel you won or lost money?
Feel both good and bad. Good that we got something, and the future of the company is better than ever. Bad that we didn't get the "big-time-million-of-dollars" payout that everyone that joins a start up dreams about, but that was never close to happening anyway.
For folks joined zoox in early 2016, do you know if they got RSUs or options?
Options until late 16 or early 17 I think
We got amazon stock and some stock appreciation rights but, vesting terms aren't great. And amounts are ok I guess. We all got basically a bonus for signing to amazon based on rsu or granted options but it wasn't jaw dropping money or anything.
It was nice to get something, but leadership made the most money. Feel like they’re using this to keep us here. A lot of people have left.

Quitting this Slave life
From what I heard, their recent hires got some money, other employees got peanuts, ex employees got fucked.
Typical Amazon employee treatment.
