Zoox interview
Have an upcoming senior software engineering interview with zoox. Anyone know what questions they ask?
They focus a lot on OOD based questions for coding rounds and in generally too. And itβs weird they have 1 math/physics round in the (virtual) on-site interview

Screen round: Sr sde. - What is the difference between compiler and interpreter - What are the benefits/drawbacks for a compiled language vs an interpreted language - What is polymorphism My preferred language was Java. - Is Java compiler based or an interpreter based language - What are the benefits/drawbacks /limitations of Java - how does Java do memory management - how does the garbage collector work - Gave a toy problem. Low level design.
Weirdest interview rounds ever. Read about their objective yes/no tech screen and Math/Physics onsite rounds for all SWE roles.
Math physics? Im totally failing that π
Do you have any details on the objective yes/no part? I had the tech interviews last week and haven't heard back yet, going crazy trying to guess how I did.
