zscaler employees curious to know what your thoughts are on competition/prospects from Netskope as I am seeing recruiters of the latter quoting Zscaler stock as an example for potential growth(5x from 7.5B). TC 350k
Do you think Netskope has better potential than Zscaler if it goes IPO?
Similar potential
That is a great sign
Thanks I was wondering as Zscaler has a big headstart
Zscaler has enormous potential ahead, itโs one of the most innovative and fast moving companies Iโve worked for throughout my career
Netskope has a serious dilution issue. 7 rounds of funding and 1B in funding. This dilution kills employee stock value. Zscaler is founder owned. Single round of funding and employees made money. You will make money at Netskope stock. Just not the same as Zscaler. Ask them for total outstanding stock.
That is a good insight. So zscaler will be better in the long run
Potential of netskope is very high. Netskope is building new things and engineers will get opportunity to work on things from scratch in many teams. Look at the secondary market ( equityzen) on their current price. If investors are investing 20 + dollars at Netskope currently they will expect a decent growth during IPO
Dude but dilution is a killer at Netskope. Don't just do probable share price * no of shares. Netskope should have taken care of dilution
Cyber security is MASSIVELY undervalued
That's because security won't help most companies make money. It doesn't contribute to most of the core product. It's usually used to check off those compliance from auditors. No one is going to buy a Vault made by Louis Vuitton. So security products can't charge ridiculously high prices due to this reason.
Agreed the industry is always going to be undervalued because no one wants to spend ๐ธ until they actually get in a security incident.
