I started interviewing at SIG (Susquehanna International Group) and made it on to the final interview. Before we were able to schedule it however, the holidays came around and interviews for the company got put on hold. Ik this stuff is impossible to know but in your experience, what does this mean? btw referrals are much appreciated :) yoe ≈ 2 tc ≈ 90k
It’s January 10th, stuff slows down there during the holidays but if they wanted you the recruiting department would have set something up by now. They have a pretty good and well staffed recruiting team. Most people are back from holidays by this time.
I interviewed with them last year. Cleared all the rounds and the feedback was great. These were the last words from the recruiter - "Everyone liked you and they have never seen anyone so technically proficient. But unfortunately we are not going ahead as the management feels you may not like the work and hence a flight risk" They scrutinized every single word I said and were simply looking for reasons to reject me. I am not a novice who would say self incriminating things in an interview. It was just a play of words. Am I supposed to talk like a fcking robot?

Half the office is out the last week plus a few days so it's probably hard to find interviewers. I wouldn't look into it too much.
They would immediately tell you if you were done. Interviews are likely to continue but a lot of people are out right now. All the best.
Has it occurred to you to maybe ask your recruiting coordinator instead of people on Blind with no knowledge of how SIG’s internal process works?
i actually have and they gave a very vague "we can't say one way or the other" type of answer. im more asking to see how people think of this behavior who have more experience with recruiters than i.
