I applied for similar job and I found Max range in the job form is 140k + So I choose it :) I will not take this job for less than 200k I am talking about service assurance and orchestration solution architect job
There are not much similar roles in Canada in other companies Hopefully Microsoft after affirmed and meta switch they hire some qualified people Amazon have some jobs but slightly different than service provider roles.
Let’s see.. right now telecom is in flux .. all these cloud providers trying to be telco .. but they will not dare to buy spectrum and open their empire to government regulations and oversight 😛😛
Never thought I’d see a Bell Canada post on blind...
Every time I hear Canada
It just about broke 100 F yesterday in southern Ontario...
God pull u out of freezer 😂
I have the same question for executive roles at bell
Hahaha Bell... I’m Canadian and any telecom business is shit. Completely agree on zero innovation. It’s all politics and nothing will ever move. They basically have the monopoly so why would they try new things... you probably has a regular employee pass the 150k base salary and don’t even think you will get the perks or extras you get in the US (sign in, relocation or equity). The only Canadian companies that does something similar are start ups or américain company based in Canada. You should run away from it like fire if you trying to have a career and learn things. If you want to just sit and watch the train pass by...
150k at bell Canada? No way
I said: you won’t pass that 150k... I never heard anyone at Bell hit near that number except directors... as a software engineer (actually they won’t even call you that, you will probably be a Java developer) you will barely pass the 100k as a senior. They’ll probably ask you to code a easy feature to implement and it will take you 2-3 months just to figure the code since it was so badly designed... My 2 cent: find a US company that hires in Canada that way you’ll be sure they won’t low ball you and you’ll know you work for something cool.
