Hi, I am looking at D.R.Horton Cedar Pointe homes new construction houses in Lynnwood (seattle area). I am wondering if anyone around Seattle have positive/negative experience for the new construction homes by D.r. horton and any thoughts especially the cedar pointe LOCATION? #tech #amazon #microsoft #homes #newhomes
Os it in front of 405, on larch way. Is noise not a problem there!
I bought there recently. If school is not that big of a requirement for a few years, go for it. The floor plans and community is really good. The lots on the cul-de-sac are the ones to go for if freeway noise is a concern. It wasn't a concern for me. Location wise it is great. Access to freeways to Bellevue and Seattle both. Lightrail and Shuttle stops are nearby. Costco, grocery stores, shopping and all are 5mins. Has quick access to parks with puget sound views if you like taking strolls (something my friends who moved from Seattle to Bothell miss a lot).

Schools, freeway noise was not a concern ??? You have really low expectations. Good for you and the seller.
DR Horton is garbage
There are very few lots remaining which are decent. Either they have bad ventilaton due to old tall trees behind or have freeway noise etc.
Agreed on this. Most of the good lots are sold. The remaining ones don't get a lot of sunlight, and will be gloomy to live in
I just bought a house in Cedar Pointe. Schools are good, construction is standard DR Horton with warranty, which I prefer over those Seattle local builders and their 1 just warranty. Community is mostly Indians working in tech and a couple of Chinese. Feel free to DM if you have any questions
DMed!
How are the schools good? The test scores like 4/10 , 5/10 etc for elementary and middle school. Overall school rating is also 4 or 5 for elementary and middle school.
