Age - 30, TC - 290k, NW - 400k Principal Specialist in Data & AI for 4 years now leading East US over 13 directs, ~$700M Revenue with undergrad in Cyber Defense + Air Force. Everyone says just keep doing what you’re doing and to me, more than 4 years is stagnant if top performer. FY ends in June and need a plan post EOY bonus. Goal is to influence business globally at Exec. Level and I’m a little lost on where to go. Thought I’d crowdsource ideas... thoughts? #tech

What is your official job title op
Principal Specialist in Data & AI
I think you should look at McKinsey or BCG. Your experience will help them drive things globally. They will pay north of $500k for your experience as well
Not adverse to it but not sure how the big 5 and tech translate, role wise. Any thoughts? Like, difference in Assoc. Partner to VP of transformation or is it all the same?
Associate partner should be same as vp of transformation, except that you may carry P&L responsibility. Given that you are coming from tech to consulting, this may be something very néw. So
Marriage.
Dropped a bomb on me here, definitely a forefront thought. Suppose the hold up is getting tied down to a city building a family and the inability to move for the opportunity that comes up.
You make $290k/year but only have a net worth of $400k? Am I reading that right? If so I think the most important place you could spend your time is learning how to reduce expenses and invest your money.
