I know someone asked this question almost a year ago. But now this year with new funding and the new CEO there for a couple years is it a good time to join? How is the engineer team doing now? What is the good and the bad? #culture #worklifebalance #strategy
Many of the comments from last year still apply. Our CEO is not engineering first, he's more focused on sales, but he's got some good leaders under him. I'm in the engineering department and I'm happy with my team- competitive pay, interesting problems, and really smart people. I'd say at least the quality of the team I was on at a much larger tech company. Some of the divisions are in a weaker spot but we've made a lot of great hires in the last year. Work life balance is very strong while still being a startup. I enjoy working here and I feel like most of the people I work with feel the same.
What is the strike price for new employees?
Not sure. I joined a while back, but we've had some fundraising and significant user growth since then, so I expect it has gone up. Mine was very low, but less options than previous companies I've worked for (made up for by higher salary)
Can you please share a range of salary ?
Please be careful with this company, and their CEO in particular.
