i have about $150k sitting in cash and was thinking about moving it to Vanguard. what should i do with it at Vangiard. do you suggest money market or ETFs?
Most of my money is in VOO and VGT.
Mine too+ VTI
I have a bunch of money in VTSAX. Do people recommend VOO over VTSAX?
Isn’t the market about to crash
Vanguard limits what you can do. For example, no margin, options, etc. If you just want the basics use vanguard. Otherwise, go with Fidelity

Terrible technology and customer service. Just go with Schwab and you can still buy all vanguard funds at no cost.
What specifically is wrong with their technology? I haven't ever had any issues
I just went through a divorce. I had closed accounts at vanguard and Schwab that I needed statements from. Vanguard got them to be online in 30 minutes. Vanguard had to mail them I got them in 3 weeks after making multiple calls and escalations and even had to tweet them. Their statements don’t have transaction details needed. They have weird brokerage account numbers for your cash vs funds you’ve purchased even though it’s one account. If you ever want to buy anything besides vanguard, you can do that at Schwab. But pay fees at vanguard. Schwab has free atm reimbursements globally. If you ever need to send a wire it’s free. Advice is free. Try calling the customer service and you’ll see for yourself plus I think vanguard closes eastern time hours where as Schwab is always available and they have online chat.
