does anyone have experience with point72 data science academy ? what is the process like? is it good/bad? #finance #datascience #point72
I applied 2 years ago when it first started and had a final round interview. It’s a slow interview process they take a long time throughout. Had a phone screen, take home which focuses on combining disparate public data sources, regression, and seeing how you handle a vague problem. The in person is actually pretty easy I just didn’t know much back then. The biggest thing to be prepared for is to research some use cases of alternative data before you go into that and make sure you understand all of the crazy datasets these hedge funds pay for. If you’re not familiar with it you’d never guess they could get the data they do
