Well that is not entirely correct .. samsung not known for layoffs but they have a strong pip culture .. after every year's review cycle people are let go . You can not compare that with mass layoffs. But at times their pip quota ranges upto 5-6 %
Even Navi company I saw few posts on LinkedIn about people looking for new job. Many companies are silently doing layoffs and not giving severance also.
