7-Eleven Seattle vs. 7-Eleven Irvine

7-Eleven Seattle. Due to caffeine addiction I am there a lot and talk to friendly Indians who run the place. Was standing in line. Suddenly, friendly Indian clerk comes running in the door and shouts to his wife, "give me the bat!" She protests, he replies: "don't argue with me woman, give me the bat." Indian wife pulls out a aluminum baseball bat from behind the counter (huh never knew that was there) and gives it to her husband. He runs back outside and comes back a short-time later with a security guard and escorting a thief. Cops arrive short time later. Later huge scary black guy and his son are in line ahead of me. She recognizes him as someone who had messed up their place prior. No fear whatsoever she challenges him and tells him to leave or she will call the cops. He refuses and they argue. Adrenaline starts pumping as I wonder if my 6 months of BJJ will be useful at all. Luckily they go away eventually. Later was talking to Indian clerk lady. She tells me how much harassment she gets including apparently from an Amazon Security guard. She tells me that they drink all day on the job and harass her employees. She shows me a text from the head of Amazon Security saying to call him if he causes trouble again. Next day, I'm standing in line and an Amazon Security guard is in front of me. She recognizes him and refuses him service and tells him to leave. They argue but eventually he gives up and leaves. Dude was small and skinny so not that scary. Later I was at 7-Eleven in the morning. Temporarily shutdown due yet more stealing. Extremely brown Arab-looking Doordash guy is angry at Indian lady for shutting the place down when he needs a make a delivery. They argue and he finally yells "Fuck you sandn*****." Random white guy starts yelling at Doordash while random black guy and I look at each other in confusion. Black dude was like, "Wait wtf isn't that guy like middle eastern?" Later I talk hobbies with friendly Indian clerk. He says he does Muay Thai and was recently at the range with his new gun. He then shows me a pictures of his new 1911 pistol. I compliment his choice of weapon. I saw lots of other incidents of crazy people being dicks to the clerks. Not to mention the constant, relentless, neverending, protesting at the cop-station next door during the 2020 Summer of Love. Later I transfer to Amazon Irvine. Me: "Do you get many thieves here?" 7-Eleven clerk: "No. Not really. This very nice neighborhood."
