Can't comment on LG but stay away ftom Whirlpool (KitchenAid). Poor quality and horrible warranty repair experience.
Should get smart fridge with TV

Sub-Zero FTW
Ah, you've come to the right place and we'll try to help you. To answer your poll appropriatelly and maximize the potential total help we could provide, please read and answer below: Does size really matter? The depth, the height, and overall capacity, think of the latter one too. Do you like the smooth texture? If yes, well, then both candidates work well. How about its handle? Do you prefer a standard one? Think of it, as you'll live with your choice for many years along (hopefully). There is a warranty aspect to it too, I'd suggest you don'teven bother: if it breaks, nothing will help to fix that handle nor the depth. These things are just a brief summary of a bigger picture, which would definitelly require a deeper research.
PSA: do not repair your broken fridges out of warranty. not worth it. just throw away and buy a new one.
Not doing it, my home warranty paid me $500 for a leak - I think I got the message that concurs with what you say
LG has been pretty good for us and friends of ours. It feels like a lot of thought and care went into making their fridges usable and to not waste any space. The space is very flexible, which we liked. When entertaining, I always felt like I had enough room without much effort on adjustments. Definitely get extended warranty, regardless since each one is only covering the entire cost for a year. LG looks like it has the better built-in warranty, which hopefully means they have more confidence in their build.
Awesome thanks for the feedback
Neither makes fridges so not sure how this matters.
