Solar options in Bay Area?
Hi, looking to install solar for my home and wanted to know some really good options. Hearing a lot of negativity for Tesla solar customer service and warranty option. Any advice for Sunpower or NRG Solar? Which one is the best? Is Tesla worth it? What’s the wait time like? Thanks

They also charge almost $3.5/watt for tier 3 Longi panels. They are expensive AF.
In same boat, OP which vendor did you consider? I took quotes from Tesla, Sunpower and Sunrun. By far tesla is the cheapest by at least 10k compared to others. Sunpower is the most.
Sun power is the most expensive followed by Sunrun. Tesla is the cheapest but good luck getting any info from them. Customer service sucks. Just Google Tesla solar reviews. I can refer you to NRG if you want. We just submitted our permits. Very smooth process so far. Got what I want.
NRG gave you which Panels? Also, what’s the $/wh?

@sinno can you share your quote? System size, panels, inverters and cost before credits? I'm thinking of going with NRG but they have no labor warranty unless manufacturer covers it. That's got me thinking, with a 3 story house I've where I gotta rentba boom-lift each time ($1k)
