I just deleted my account. This is crazy. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2024/03/glassdoor-adding-users-real-names-job-info-to-profiles-without-consent/
Deleted. Kudos for the tip
Glassdoor was always a scam. They accept compensation in exchange for boosting positive reviews and deleting negative ones. Companies pay to have the best reputation instead of actually improving the work environment.
What is even their motivation behind doing so? Even if the company was at rock bottom, revealing real names would lose them even more customers, right?
Their customers are companies that want to have perfect ratings. Revealing names discourages negative reviews.
wtf??
They need to get sued over this.
It was already dead anyway
