airbnb coding interviews
how difficult/different are they from companies like fb or Google? ps: if you did their interview and believe it was harder what was the expectation? solve and code fully or show that you can think through even if not complete.
Less emphasis on algorithmic background knowledge, more emphasis on practical coding skills. Your code will need to compile, run, and pass test cases during the allotted time. G/FB doesn’t compile your code and focuses more on the algorithm.
Is it same in onsite or just phone screen is like that? What about design?
Both are like this. I have no idea about design.
They're available on Chinese websites. So depends if you can read Chinese or not.

If you have access to the chinese document , you will get it - I got it after I interviewed , I anyways declined the offer , but I can tell you 100% all questions including behavioral came from that list
So that thread about how homogenous Airbnb eng is makes more sense now
Airbnb is leetcode hards and they are really hard. I implemented a whole trie and solution and failed lol
Interviews are pretty easy, but unless you are chinese they won’t hire you
