Meetings are being held with managers across most teams right now. All hands at 12pm and 1:1s are being cancelled. Usually this is a chance to trim the fat before the recession.
I’ve heard the same news today from a friend working at Airbnb’s now. But there is no more info I can get than you did.

What? Now they are laying off engineers?
Many sources told it would be May. Now it seems true.
Hope they can recover soon so we can have one more option when switching jobs.
