Hard to find a single compact luxury SUV that has over 30 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up. It’s as if luxury car drivers don’t go camping or on road trips.

How often do you see a Porsche or Lexus at a campground? It’s always Subarus or similar. Stuff you can get dirty and not care about. The luxury market targets moms at shopping malls.
GX460 being the exception, since it's sold as a Toyota in other countries and actually has a devout off-road following. (This and the Mercedes G-class are the only two body-on-frame midsize SUVs out there, luxury or not.) They just happen to be extremely boring, mostly unchanged since the late aughts, and only available in 8-cylinder... but they're also ridiculously reliable and unusually cheap if you buy CPO.
Buy a bigger SUV if you need more space
Just surprised the luxury carmakers never thought about competing on cargo space. They have much smaller cargo areas compared to non-luxury cars of the same size. It just feels like a total downgrade since loading up the car is such a common thing to do. Like luxury should provide an all-around better experience than non-luxury, yet it appears not.
Mercedes GLE, Audi Q8 etc have pretty good cargo space.
Yet you can buy a Honda Passport that has the same dimensions as it yet has 50% more cargo area. Seems like a downgrade, especially when you use the cargo area often.
Well, I was considering one, but now it’s a dealbreaker. Maybe this is why lots of rich people actually drive Subaru Outbacks (other than stealth wealth).
Expand ur horizons. U need more space look beyond Honda
You have to get two cars. I already went though this and had this conversation with my friends. We don’t know why but big spaces and luxury suvs are not a thing and when it is, it’s never a car you want. I have a Tesla X because I like the suv luxury look and electric. And I have a suburban for family trips, space etc.
How big is your family?
Because they opt for more leg space.
Toyota sienna XLE is the real luxury vehicle. 36 mpg, tight turning circles, cargo for days, dead reliable.
The way cargo space is measured is not standardized even within a manufacturer
