anyone shifted from internet company to space tech company?
how’s the feel? i am seriously considering this, is there any career recommendation? #engineering
It’s boring because there’s so much money / life on the line. Double / triple checks on the most basic thing
But aren't the problems interesting?
Yes if you are at a higher level putting the large picture together, but most people are just working on the smaller pieces that go through multiple design reviews and safety checks
How many space tech companis are there? Nasa, SpaceX and Blue Origin?
I also think Rocket Lab would be interesting. They’re working on solved problems but in a different way. That’s neat.
I would say Relativity space as well
Will there be higher chance to immigrate to Mars if working at a space tech company?
I went from Google to SpaceX. Just do whatever makes you want to get up to go to work. Life's too short.
Do you enjoy spacex more? How are the projects?
I do. Lot more demanding but I like the grind. I'm working on starship so the projects are crazy fast right now.
