apple SEG ICT3 compensation
just got an initial offer from apple, recruiter provided a range in which the high end would be the best offer they can give. that basically means they only want to give me 180k TC in maximum. i have a competing offer from xilinx which is 170K, almost the same amount as the low end of the Apple offer. is this a standard? how to push it to higher? any feedback would be valued! YOE:4 base: 135k-140k rsu:90k-105k bonus9%-13% sign on:20k
Yep, they r being truthful. That industry just doesnt pay as well unfortunately. They pay new hires more than old timers. fyi - their wlb is absolutely abismal, so weigh that into your decision. Expect 55-60h work weeks. Expect to work on vacations and shutdowns.
Thank! Still excited for this opportunity. WLB wise, I am not so concerned since I am single. The worst case would be leaving apple or switching group in a year, doesn’t harm.

Looks like a standard SEG offer for 4 yrs experience. Base is usually max around 150ish for ICT3 Unless you have competing offers with higher pay. I’ve seen SEG ICT4 offers for RSU to range from 120-200k so seems in-line.
