I tried to print out this page as a PDF on a Mac with macOS 13.1 Ventura, so that I can use Preview to do some highlighting on the doc: https://www.solidjs.com/guides/reactivity But Google Chrome is giving me something like screenshot 01 below. Brave, Edge, and Firefox more or less gave screenshot 02 below. (Safari is giving similar result but with the left nav in the way) Screenshot 01 is not so usable... it needs to be magnified a lot... and the left and right has a huge amount of space. And idea how come Google Chrome is giving that and can it be improved? Update: that page, as usual, asked the reader to read another page: https://dev.to/ryansolid/a-hands-on-introduction-to-fine-grained-reactivity-3ndf and now Chrome, Brave, Edge all have this "highlighting off" bug (screenshot 03). Only Firefox doesn't have this bug: screenshot 04. But then I found Firefox breaks one line of sentence into two near the end of page (Screenshot 05). So I tried Safari again and this time, except for the extra nav panel, everything is ok. P.S. I later on found accidentally I can press CMD-Shift R in Safari, and show the page in a "Reading Mode". From there, I can press CMD P to print the page, and since I am afraid the code can be too long across the page, so I use Landscape mode to print it. So far this gives the best result among the 5 browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Brave. However, later on I found that this way, the Codesandbox output is not there (even after I scroll down and was able to see the results, which other browsers will choose to include that in the PDF), and also some image for illustration is missing (such as in the Handson doc https://dev.to/ryansolid/a-hands-on-introduction-to-fine-grained-reactivity-3ndf under Reactive Lifecycle). So, this is life.

Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
you could use ad blockers to disable elements and print the webpage anyway you like.
but I don't see any ad at all on this page using Google Chrome. Do you just mean arbitrarily and selectively choose what to block? That might be quite a bit of effort... then why not just use Brave / Edge / Firefox?
Ad blocker extensions are just an easy way to remove certain classes for a given website. You can remove the title bar and footers to make your PDF even better. It should be really quick if you know web inspection and CSS very well.
