Hi guys, Have 2 offers and is confused b/w them, please find the details: OCI offer details: Position: SMTS(IC3) 41 base(including PF and gratuity) 1200 rsu worth around ~93k USD 3.5(1st month) + 3.5 (18th month) Team/org: AI and Data Science Location: remote Adobe offer details: Poistion: CS-1 34.5 (including PF and gratuity) 100000 USD 5L(1st month) + 4L(13th month) + 2L(after completing 2nd year) Location: Noida Team/Org: Adobe Creative Cloud Hi guys, please evaluate the above offers on the basis of the below parameters. Need to decide within a few days as the OCI joining date is approaching next week. Got adobe offer today itself, the initial base which was offered by adobe was around 30, got it increased to the above-mentioned figure. The thing that is worrying is the difference in TC, would you think is it big enough to choose OCI over Adobe? Also, if anyone knows, could someone please tell me how is the work at adobe creative cloud? The position offered has Java stack as a requirement written on it. Quality of work (Highest priority) Work Culture Compensation WLB (Lowest priority) My TC: 50 LPA Friend TC: 25 LPA, YOE: 3.6 Y #tech #adobe#adobeindia#careers #adobesystems #oracle #oci #software #career #gcp #azure #engineer #jobfit #bangalore #softwaredevelopersalary#adobecreativecloud#creativecloud#adobeoffer#ocioffer#salary#offer #tech #evaluate
When is the joining date at adobe ? Adobe will not encourage remote. If he prefers remote than choose OCI
No hikes at oracle after u join , All you discuss in office are re-orgs ... Take adobe anyday
Indian Management is always low cost i heard better things for OCI after i left Oracle , Not sure how things are now
Adobe's work quality is top nitch and creative cloud is one of the most revenue generating orgs. The culture and people here are awesome. Only thing I see is remote work is a pro at OCI but you can try to negotiate with Adobe and that would conclude it. (Wlb at Adobe depends on team)
The comp offered that is being offered at Adobe for CS 1, is it fine or they lowballed me.
Also, how easily can you switch teams in Adobe?
Oracle shares vesting is after every year. Whereas in adobe, after first year, it is every three month. So there is no loss in leaving midway. Secondly, oracle is not an employee friendly company, HR's are not reachable here and there is no proper hike policy. Adobe is far better in giving hikes. Third, since you are in early stage of career, you can ignore few lakhs and check which can provide better learning opportunities. I recently joined OCI and i am not liking work culture and quality of work. I am not sure about how it would be in adobe in your team. You can check with your team mates in adobe about the work. Fourth, Oracle perqs are almost zero, since last 7 months, i have not received anything from Oracle. Infact there joining kit was also in bits and pieces. Not organized at all. Whereas, I have my friends in adobe and atleast It is better than oracle in perquisites.
Adobe over Oracle anyday even if its a few lakhs less also creative cloud is a revenue generating business for Adobe
Reason for choosing OCI over Adobe despite few extra lakhs?
There absolutely no reason to choose OCI unless its a significant bump in TC over any other offer...
Stay away from OCI. It is not going to compete with any of the major cloud players

Oci will not give any hike... Join adobe ..creative cloud is good in general ( depends on team )...
Were you in OCI before? Also, how are hikes in Adobe?
I had offers from both.. i joined adobe after knowing this. Adobe have proper appraisal policy. Hikes depends on perf and other factors . In general it's decent if you do good .
