Elastic interview
Hi all Does any one have any experience with senior engineer tech interview with elastic? Is it leetcode medium or something different?#tech #elastic Thanks

Not sure of your current TC but elastic pays really shitty, gave me an offer 100k below current TC so keep that in mind.
I guess it depends on the level. I recently interviewed and they were able to give a strong base comparable to FAANG, obviously stock component was not that great compared to FAANG
They offered me 175k base, and 128k/4 years with no bonus and sign on for senior role. That grant is less than new grads at faang/unicorns…
I interviewed with them sometime.back and got the offer. Level is LC easy to medium. Do checkout Glassdoor interview experiences, it has some valuable information. Overall interview process was very good and stress free. let me know if you need more info.
Thanks for the information. How do you like it so far, the reviews on blind seem to be great and Glassdoor interviews seem to talk more about system design and so on. I have little experience working directly on elastic search I guess it’s encouraged to know more about elastic as well ?
I have no experience working on elastic search.. but basic knowledge about the purpose of ELK stack would help. I was not asked any system design question but glassdoor experience focus one important algorithm question of nested json. Make sure you do that thoroughly. One other live question was to program a very small react app to display Wikipedia links ( easy - medium ) difficulty. I will be joining in a month.
