atlassian relocation and on-hire stock grant
What happens to the on-hire stock grant when someone relocates from atlassian USA to atlassian australia/india ? Is is still kept active; same vesting amounts on same vesting schedule? #tech #stock @atlassian
How'd you move to India/Australia? Did you change teams? Don't think you can transfer during the first 12 months and even after that I've heard it's iffy
It's easier if you don't need visa sponsorship or relocation assistance. I know of a lot of people who have moved between Australia and the US, for examples, and a few people who have moved back to India. Moving to US is only easy if you have your own visa or are a returning US citizen; I'd imagine the same is true for Australia With the current not-quite-freeze this may also be a lot harder going forward
