Warby Parker was my favorite but they're not under VSP
Call a few places and ask. I have had about a 50/50 success rate with independent optometrist offices
Don't trust LensCrafters. They'll tell you they can do VSP for you, but they're actually out of network. The reimbursement is only a bit more than 100 dollars
Maybe I should've said "frames". I got my prescription/exam from an in network optometrist no problem, I just need the glasses
Same answer still applies. VSP has an awful reimbursement for out-of-network, so make sure to stay in network for frames.

VSP should have out-of-network benefits. Focus on the out of pocket cost, not the amount that vision insurance will pay.

Vsp providers are so expensive. Lens crafters or such, then you file your own claim with VSP and get a smaller amount, may work out cheaper.
VSP owns the brands the in network providers sell. The amount they pay if you are out of network is a joke
I got my glasses from Warby Parker paid for by VSP. Just pay out of pocket (better yet, with your HSA) and file a claim with VSP for reimbursement according to their out-of-network plan. I paid $125 and VSP paid $140 through reimbursement for my glasses.
