How is chan Zuckerberg initiative for career? Looking at infra/sre roles or general software positions or should I run Tc and yoe 0 #czi
I would say it depends on the team you join. Only downside of pay is they don't include stonks, but they work around it with a 100% match 401k plan, a high base salary, and semi annual bonuses. For me personally, WLB is awesome (no meeting Wednesdays, no oncall, occasional <40 hour work weeks) and I really like the people on my team. Probably some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. Not sure how it'll work for new hires and new grads, but they recently introduced a remote policy and you know I'm not moving back to the bay just so I can sit an hour on the 101 😂
Could I DM you for CZI referrals?
I am biased but it’s a great place to start your career. The pay isn’t the best but new grad is somewhat competitive
How much is new grad?
half the blind reviews suggest otherwise so care to elaborate?
