Regular sedans are just unredeemable. One sits so low it is difficult to get in and out. It is also dangerous in a crash. There is so little headroom. SUVs have a high roof, so the seats are comfortable and the headroom is adequate. However, many of them have a high floor and it is difficult to climb in or out. Most people do not need more than 5-6 inches of ground clearance to drive over speed bumps and potholes. Minivans need a flat floor so the floor is also too high. The models that come to the US also have a low roof. Perhaps the ID.Buzz will be better. A car with a low floor and a high roof affords easy access and vertical room. I think cars like the BMW 5-series GT and the Rolls Royce Phantom got this right. But the former has been discontinued and the latter costs more than most houses in the US.
Hatchbacks
Roof too low. Seats are too low as well.
Which ones have you tried? Iโve sat in Subaru Outbacks and I drive an MS3 gen 2. High roof, high enough not to mess my hair up and I have a long torso. I think you are asking for a minivan.
Then you will be driving around in an airport bus.
Get a pickup truck with the steps on the sides.
Steps are not user friendly. There is no point for the floor to be so high.
Car designs are driven by safety standards. โAโ pillar safety requirement killed off high roof.
Then all SUVs will fail.
Aaah I missed the ๐ฉ car takes from i am a cat
Youโre overthinking this bro. Low floor plus high roof will look like a hearse
So what? If it is comfortable I don't care what it looks like.
