In case of layoffs, which Seattle area companies are easy to get a SWE job at? For example, I used to live in the midwest and certain non-tech companies have easy interviews so you could always go there in case of layoffs. E.g. machinery companies like Cummins, John Deere, etc. The TC is low (like $20k less than competitors) so they are always hiring, regardless of the economy, and the interviews are pretty easy, like fizzbuzz and behavioral questions only. TC: 190k
I’m afraid the answer is None. Even companies like Wyze that used to pay peanuts ask LC medium in the interview. Best bet is contract companies.
Wyze is a shit firm. They file H1B based on performance 😒

Microsoft.
Interview wasn't that easy in my experience, but the pay isn't stellar.
From my experience years ago, you could get a MSFT offer without preparing. The pay was bad no matter how good you performed.
