benefits at your company

what are your benefits? im sure big four are probably similar: 401k, student loan, health benefit (not great given deductibles...), etc.

Twitter jamBoard Jul 29, 2020

401K, Health and Dental , Gym and Phone Reimbursements, Free Lunch/Breakfast, Free Shuttle , Bunch of Free classes, 1000$ COVID benefits

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 30, 2020

1k worth of covid benefits, that’s awesome can you spend that on anything

Twitter jamBoard Jul 30, 2020

Yes people are mostly spending on Home Working Desk/Furniture , Router Upgrade etc... There is a exhaustive list of items you are get

Hyundai Capital America acctngsx Jul 29, 2020

401k, health and dental insurance that are quite decent, monthly car allowance, car discounts, random discounts here and there (e.g., gym, restaurants, amusement parks). Pretty bland other than the car allowance.

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 30, 2020

The car allowance in this case is pretty useful for a car buyer

Hyundai Capital America parkacar Jul 30, 2020

Yup I like it, but annualize the monthly allowance and it's still <10k... it's a great benefit if u are already working here and drive one of the brand's cars but not a significant amount that would discourage you from leaving, since your TC increase from job change would likely more than offset that foregone car allowance.

$2000 annual Airbnb credit which never expires and keeps rolling over. Free food. Very good health insurance. Decent 401K.

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 30, 2020

I’d be down to join just for the free food and 2k annual credit lol

Airbnb abnb_ Jul 30, 2020

Yea. The food here depends whether you like it or not. It’s mostly healthy choices. Some people really like it some do not. The credit comes as $500 every quarter. That is the best benefit I think. I’m leaving Airbnb but that’s something I’ll miss.

MasterCard bob4563 Jul 30, 2020

Decent 401k match, gym reimbursement etc. Pretty good benefits package overall

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 30, 2020

How much do you get for your gym reimbursement. Unfortunately my company doesn’t

Alvarez & Marsal finance111 Jul 31, 2020

How much is your gym reimbursement? Can you use it anywhere?

Deloitte Delout Jul 30, 2020

Most noteworthy is the $500 wellness benefit that can be applied to a whole bunch of things, free udemy, free certifications. That’s probably it

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 30, 2020

Can you select any certifications that you want to get for free?

Alvarez & Marsal finance111 Jul 31, 2020

$500 wellness is a great benefit to have

Accenture SiriusOne Jul 30, 2020

Standard benefits (401K, Insurance, this and that discounts). But the best thing I see is 27 days PTO every year. Honestly, it is a pressure to burn those PTO days.

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 30, 2020

Can you take the pto all at once if it’s a pressure

Accenture SiriusOne Jul 31, 2020

If you are on bench, I suppose. If on project, I doubt it. The max I have taken together is 4 weeks.

Alvarez & Marsal finance111 Jul 31, 2020

What is the student loan benefits that you get? That's pretty neat.

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 31, 2020

Concept is cool but it’s actually not that much , 100 a month. Guess it’s better than nothing

Lyft roaaaarrr Jul 31, 2020

No 401k match, no cash bonus, stock is 40% of what it was at IPO, but Lyft has free LyftPink membership! Yay!

PwC cjsndgj OP Jul 31, 2020

Wow is this serious? Did they cut your benefits or was it like that from the start

Lyft roaaaarrr Aug 3, 2020

from the start

LinkedIn weabo Aug 4, 2020

50% 401k match, amazing health benefits (no monthly premiums), 2k perkup for gym /house cleaning/massages, MS ESPP, the best food (until covid happened). Honestly, LinkedIn’s perks make the culture.

LinkedIn Jrcf91 Aug 7, 2020

I’d add our July 4th and December holiday shutdowns. And indays

Fusion Connect omg reboot Aug 9, 2020

Non matching 401k. Health insurance with premiums and deductibles so high the life insurance plans seem the better option. They used to offer options, but ever since we got delisted we don't talk about it. 3 weeks PTO, but you probably shouldn't take it, and even if you do there's a fair chance they'll call you during. Oh, plus, you get paid, so that's always nice. 👌 Did I mention free grief counseling for those who need it??

Microsoft fhxa12 Sep 14, 2020

"health insurance with deductibles so high the life insurance plans seem the better option" 🤣🤣🤣 that killed me hahaha
