had a phone screen interview and my interviewer was pretty hostile to me...we immediately got off to a bad start when i asked what time complexity they wanted for the solution. In the end, predictably, the recruiter emailed me and said they would not be moving forward with my application and gave me some feedback from the interviewer (things like how my code couldn’t even compile...when we tested it during the interview and it did...) has anyone had any bizarre experiences like this? what’s lime’s culture like? is it toxic? didn’t seem like it when I talked with the recruiter...
Why would you ask what time complexity they wanted? Just discuss and code up the most optimal solution
Lol maybe that’s why the interviewer got offended
Lime sounds more like a 🍋
Did you land at Lyft on your first ever interview? Things like these are pretty common. Don't judge too much from your 30min interview.
Consider bullet dodged
I had same experience. I got the onsite but nope the fuck out
Lime is very poorly run. There are no “adults” there.

Ha ha . I had bad experience too. It was phone screen. First explained the algorithm and approach and started to code. He started asking questions for every line of code and I was unable to focus. Either the team is stressed out or leadership sucks there. I kept calm during this time and coded and finally got a thank you email :)
