I have been watching Hbo max and I am hooked. The content is just so much better than Netflix. I literally haven't opened Netflix in last month or so. I feel like Hbo max will likely take over Netflix as the go to place for entertainment. In such a scenario, what's the future of Netflix?
I feel the same some times too, I feel it has to do a lot with the fact that you are highly familiar with netflix's content (as I am) so hbo feels better (as it feels fresher)... I think if you (or myself) spent the exact same amount of time in both platforms netflix would win hands down. (I have the same feeling with hulu and amazon)
Lol
Both Netflix and HBO Max are good in content, but surprised to see Disney+ getting all the credits 🤦🏻♀️
Yeah I too feel the same. I got Disney only for Mandalorian. Not much content to sustain subscription. I said goodbye and got HBO max. Way better content. Disney gets too much press/attention

What show you watching on HBO?
Search party is worth checking out
HBO has a decent library, but you will run it out in 3 months. Netflix provides some bingeable quality TV every week, all at once, that's the moat. In comparison, HBO tends to provide one episode per week. In any case, Netflix has a far better catalog internationally, where most of the growth is from.

So now we know who was rejected from Netflix this week.
I'm on H1B so I will never go to Netflix 😅
Why? Netflix no good for H1Bs?
