Has anyone worked for Hyundai-aptiv with the hardware reliability team? What is a good salary for a fresh grad joining the team in Pittsburgh? #engineer #interview #hardware #reliability #hyundai #aptiv #hardwarereliability #hiring #Aptivinterviewing

Why tf would u leave tesla for Hyundai ? That’s like ... well trading your tesla for Hyundai.

Tesla GiBI82 OP Aug 8, 2020

I just finished my internship with tesla, I just graduated and I'm looking for full time opportunities now

Roku cruelIa Aug 8, 2020

Ah. I see. Sorry for assuming. How about getting return offer from tesla? Is that not happening?

Hey, are they sponsoring visa? One of the recruiter reached out to me and told me that he is not sure about sponsorship

Aptiv msnow9 Aug 11, 2020

They do. Must be on hold currently.

Intel eda1991 Aug 11, 2020

Yes, that’s what he told me that currently they might not consider me since I require sponsorship

Aptiv msnow9 Aug 11, 2020

What your YOE before Tesla? Or fresher even before? Area of experience is relevant?

Tesla GiBI82 OP Aug 11, 2020

I did an internship with tesla for 7 months during my last sem at college. That's my only industry experience so far. It was with Hardware Reliability Test team of Tesla, so the experience is directly relevant

Looks like you’re aiming for Entry level so be wary of low balling offer from the recruiter

Aptiv GVUc24 Aug 11, 2020

Make sure you negotiate properly with them, the pay isn’t super competitive and if you’re college grad they might low ball you pretty much if you landed up on a offer.

Aptiv msnow9 Aug 11, 2020

Agreed. That is true.

Tesla GiBI82 OP Aug 11, 2020

What do you think is a reasonable compensation range?

Aptiv msnow9 Aug 13, 2020

I think 85+ base should be a good start. No stocks being offered though.
