There is zero moat for bumble. What makes you think they would be successful in long run. Also their business model is you're forced to pay if you need to really use the app else keep swiping left.
This
My theory is women will prefer platform which is safe as that's the key differentiator for this app. Men will follow where women go 😎...
ewww
Yea I threw 25k in it
Match has a way way better portfolio, can easily copy Bumble if they haven’t already
Online match making is a funny business. You need 1. A user network 2. Ability to appropriately match and 3. Paying users. People want to find someone else. The issue is, once they find the perfect match, they churn. Bumble adds friction in the matching process; and even if they source better matches for people, if they’re too good at it, the users will churn. You ain’t going on bumble after you find a wife mate, two wife = you lose your life. There’s no distinct moat either for bumble besides being “friendlier for women”. No niche demographic targeting, no special sexual orientation targeting etc. Match group has matchmaking for everything. Short term and long term. Biggest network. Lower multiple. Tldr: not buying bumble. Might be worth it if they had a larger portfolio covering various niche pockets.
No, people want to have sex
Have fun bagholding.
Why? What makes you think it's a bagholder? I think their business model is good and has high potential of doing well or give tinder good run for money.
You mean Match, not Tinder. Match is the parent organization behind Tinder and almost 23 other dating apps.
